Do I need a fishing license?

Yes. A fishing license must be purchased in advance of your trip (day use or annual). You can purchase online or in person at the Noyo Fishing Center in the Harbor.

2

What should I wear?

Wear shoes that will keep your feet dry. A rain jacket and additional layers are encouraged, as weather conditions may change quickly. Sunglasses, hats, and gloves are excellent accessories. Apply sunscreen often!

How do I process my haul?

Be sure to inform your captain and deckhand! They will happily provide explanations and instructions to help you learn. They want to share their love of the ocean with others.

Our recommended resource is the Marine Weather  WEBSITE

Everyone experiences the sea differently. Starting out hydrated is always helpful. You can look into patches, wristbands, and medications that may help as well. Ginger and peppermint are supportive ingredients.

Captain Kevin wants everyone to be as comfortable as possible. If conditions are unsafe or there is a concern that the seas are too rough, he will proactively communicate with guests.
